HUB Renovations at Penn State
The HUB at Penn State University is currently under construction. Expected to be done in May 2015, students will enjoy much more space and new features once it's done. However, these changes can cause trouble for some employees.
Out of the Darkness Walk for Centre County
The 11th annual Out of the Darkness Walk took place on Sunday, April 27, 2014 in Centre County, Pa. The walk was sponsored through the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention for familes and friends who lost loved ones to suicide.
State Patty's Weekend Liveshot
State Patty's Day weekend is a student-run holiday at Penn State University. Every year, either during the last weekend of February or first weekend of March, students go out to local bars and drink. Penn State put together a "Late Night" event in the HUB-Robeson Center every Friday and Saturday for students to keep them out of the bars and safe. During State Patty's weekend, the ARHS (Association for Resident Hall Students) along with Student Affairs put together a series of events during the weekend.
Feature Story-Terry Boden
Terry Boden is a Hairstylist in Salon Nuvo in Pittsburgh, Pa. She has been doing hair for the past 10 years. From perms to braids, Terry has also been known for doing hair for some of the Pittsburgh Steelers. A mother as well, Terry has really made a name for herself in Pittsburgh!
Casino Night in the HUB (Still Photos)
Casino Night in the HUB took place during State Patty's weekend. For the past three years, the ARHS (Association for Residents Halls Sponsorship) has put together a series of events during State Patty’s Weekend to keep students out of the bars and out of trouble. This year, they put together Casino Night in the HUB Friday night, Skate Patty’s Day at the Pegula Ice Arena and Dodgeball in the Intramural Building on Saturday.

The number one ranked University of Connecticut Huskies came to the Bryce Jordan Center on November 17, 2013 to take on the 13th ranked Penn State Lady Lions. The game brought many fans to the center,as a sold out crowd watched a close game come down to the wire.

Tara Perpignan is a Senior at Penn State University. Majoring in Education and ESL (English as Second Language), she spent five weeks in the country of Ecuador where she taught English to students between the ages of 8-12.
