Who is Alexis Shelton?

 

Alexis Shelton is currently a senior at Penn State University majoring in Broadcast Journalism focusng in Sports. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa, she grew a passion for sports over the years. 

 

She began her sports writng career at Penn State Beaver in 2011, when she became the sports writer for the campus. Her talents began writng for Volleyball, Mens and Womens Basketball, Softball and Mens and Womens Soccer. At Beaver, she not only wrote game recaps, but also took pictues as well.

 

When she transferred to the University Park campus in the fall of 2012, she expanded her experience to much more. With experience now in radio and television broacast, and multimedia, she has work to show in all areas. Currently, she is a staff writer intern for goPSUsports, where she does weekly feature stories on events around the Penn State Athletic community. 

 

In February 2015, she will begin her next chapter of her life, as a multimedia intern for The Pittsburgh Post Gazette in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
